This year our beloved Swansea Fringe Festival – 21-24th October 2021, will welcome musicians from the city of Mannheim to share their music with the people of Swansea. Mannheim has been part of the UNESCO City of Music network since 2014. Established in 2020 the network aims to support the music scenes of both cities to learn and thrive, promoting the exchange of ideas and opportunities. UK researchers carry out internationally excellent research in this area, but many are isolated, scattered across the country, and housed in diverse disciplines, leading to missed opportunities to collaborate across disciplines with potential academic and industrial partners.
- This group will be limited in number, and be made up of those who can collaboratively represent the wide and diverse experiences of Bradford’s music sectors, from local grassroots through to those having a major impact on the regional and national music scene.

These have been held for more than 30 years and enable both instrumentalists and singers to make music together in a Quaker atmosphere. Youth Music Network
We look forward to supporting musicians, venues, events and festivals to flourish, helping local people get more involved with music and sharing the creativity of our city further afield. We are also offering a combined offer of £15 for both our Full Early Years and SEND Network Membership. We’re calling on musicians, rappers, producers, live music promoters, all those working in and those who support music in the city, to join the new Bradford Music Network. The resources here are designed to address the challenges and opportunities you might face as you engage in your studies, whether at university or at music college.
