Join us at Kings Place as two of the most prominent modern architects of rhythm, movement and sound take us on an explorative musical journey of their brand new collaborative project Shruti Dances. Individual tuition is offered on bass, drums, flute, guitar, piano, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, voice and other instruments by agreement. Group classes focus on the rehearsal of material from a variety of genres under the jazz umbrella, including standard, contemporary and world repertoire. There are permanent drum kits, amps and pianos located in all of our jazz rooms, and a number of drum kits, amps, PAs, microphones and keyboards available to book out for personal practice and external gigs . Situated at the heart of London’s thriving jazz scene, the department attracts acclaimed artists from across the globe who come to share their experience with you.
