On the 19th and 20th November, The Jazz Promotion Network , the only UK and Ireland-wide network of jazz industry professionals hosted its annual conference. Performance platforms include the hugely popular student-led Jazz Time sessions every Friday evening, attracting a large and loyal public audience. The regular slot offers students with hands-on experience in planning and presenting live performances to a highly diverse audience, from seasoned aficionados to casual music lovers. Students on the BMus programme can opt to undertake jazz electives within Academic Studies and Artist Development modules.
